Teacher, I’m very confuse use to pronouns especially yours, ours, hers, theirs and its.

What function the last word in that pronouns??? What different to ‘our’ with ‘ours’ and other pronouns…Any somebody help me?

Here, I want to share with you about the pronouns what we know....

Pronoun means a word that is used instead of a noun or noun phrase. Type word refer to names of things, names of persons, names of animals, and names of places. To purpose the pronouns is avoid repeats the word. Keep an eye the sentence :

Nur has a cat. She loves it very much.

In the sentence, She is a personal pronoun to Nur. It refer to cat.
So,when we used the pronoun we can avoid that sentence like that

Nur has a cat. She loves the cat very much.

Personal pronoun decided three type :

1- first person

I - I want to buy some book in MPH but, there it so expensive.

We - we must be change mindset in order to successful life.

2-second person

You - you like it?

3- third person

He - He is a politican.

She - She is my friend.

It - It is not good to talk about the other person.

They - They all want to come to the wedding.

I think that all is a subject pronouns. Am I right? Then, object pronouns….

Me- - do you remember me?

You - I love you.

Him - you must not listen to him.

Her - that is her name.

It - I like it!

Us - please help us.

Them - the police were helpful when I spoke to them.

In addition, the subject prossesive pronouns

My - my name is Nur Hafidah binti Mohd Sadri.

His - his name is mohammad

Her - Her name is Nur.

Its -

Our - our friend is so friendly. I’m glad to see you all.

Your - your parents coming for a moment.

Their -

The object prossesive pronouns

Mine - the book is mine.

Yours - Yours sincerely,

His - Hamdan denies that the child is his.

Hers -

Its -

Ours -

Theirs -

Actually, I think I understand to use for prossesive but, so difficult when I want to make a sentences….. when I want to group which want the subject prossesive pronouns with object prossesive pronouns.

For your information, once I take a paper BM in from six. I think the role mostly same in English because have a subject, predicate, object and so on…… uhhhh.. I’m so tired to think about it. I learning in malay language….. then I think is so difficult too when I learning about the role….however I can talk, write and understand hundred percent in malay but, in english emmm........

Hopefully, you can suggest something…… and help me to understand especially the subject prossesive pronouns and object prossesive pronouns.
