just for knowledge

Personal subject pronouns go before the verb:

I stayed at home.

You need another blanket.

He wants to buy a new car.

She is studying Catalan.

It barks a lot. (It is used to refer to things, animals and the weather: It is raining.)

We never eat garlic.

You read a lot.

They are good friends.

However, we place the auxiliary verb before subject pronouns in questions:

Can you help me?

Has she got the comic?

Does he write very often?

Personal object pronouns come after verbs and prepositions:

She loves me.

We sent you a letter.

We went with him.

He adores her.

I saw it with my own eyes.

They have just invited us to their wedding.

Margaret believes in you.

We don't like them.

A possessive adjective is followed by a noun:

This is my van.

Your lorry is very big.

His house is enormous.

Her face is beautiful.

Its wing is broken.

Our engagement will be announced tomorrow.

Your son is very clever.

Their work was excellent.

A possessive pronoun is not followed by a noun, that is, it stands alone:

This book is mine.

This pencil case is yours.

Mary is a relative of his.

I've found hers.

Ours need watering.

Yours are bigger than mine.

These are your notebooks and those are theirs.

most important food in my culture

The most important food in my culture is keropok lekor. If you are in Terengganu, remember to drop by the stalls that sell this delicacy and try this finger food in boiled as well as fried type. It is one of the unique food that is a specialty of Terengganu. Prepared from fish meat grounded with sago and salt, these are then rolled and made into the shape of long tubes similar to sausages.

They are then boiled and can be eaten while hot together with chilly sauce. Another way to eat is to fry the keropok lekor which makes it crunchy and eaten with chilly sauce.

There are many stalls in Terengganu that sell this delicacy but the popular ones are located in Kampung Losong, Kuala Terengganu. If you are going to the state museum, stop by this village and purchase this delicacy after your visit to the museum. Kampung Losong is about 10 minutes away from the museum.

first, i'm glad for a such beautiful blog and comittment from our member class to improve writing skill in this blog..thank also to miss Hafsa becouse not bored when teach someting new in english learning where i got someting to learn and improve ourskill like a part of speech. i know that it's a new for me (not only me) to accept a foreigner lecture because it's difficult to understand some pronouncation and speaking with our lecture. But, it's not a reason for me and the other student to learn and improve ourskill more better. i'm also so nervous becouse i didn't present my book review yet.

i also had alredy known miss hafsa before this becouse i have taken intensive english for three month at iuctt, kajang in set 2 with brother Mussalim Hafiz. Altough she not teach but i know she is a great teacher and also kind too. hope all of you take this oportunity to improve english as you can..
