As we go on,
We remember,
All the times we,
Had together,
And as our lives change,
From whatever,
We will still be
Friends Forever...........

How to make chocolate ice cream..

Ingredients

2 oz Unsweetened chocolate

1/3 c Unsweetened cocoa pwdr

1 1/2 c Milk

2Large eggs

1 cSugar

1 c Whipping cream

1 t Vanilla extract

1.Melt the unsweetened chocolate on top of a double boiler over hot, not boiling, water. Gradually whisk in the cocoa and heat, stirring constantly, until smooth. (The chocolate may "seize" or clump together. Don't worry, the milk will dissolve it.) Whisk in the milk, a little at a time, and heat until completely blended. Remove from the heat and let cool.

2. Whisk the eggs in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy, 1 to 2 minutes. Whisk in the sugar, a little at a time, then continue whisking until completely blended, about 1 minute more. Pour in the cream and vanilla and whisk to blend.

3. Pour the chocolate mixture into the cream mixture and blend. Cover and refrigerate until cold, about 1 to 2 hours, depending on your refrigerator.

4. Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and freeze following the manufacturer's instructions. Makes 1 quart.

NASI KERABU............

The most important food in Kelantan is Nasi Kerabu. The society in Kelantan very interested is Nasi Kerabu. Nasi Kerabu literally means “salad rice”. Kelantan’s Nasi Kerabu is a “white rice” and served with “tumis” gravy with local herbs, leaves and vegetables. This is considerably different from the version served in other parts of Malaysia, which is a dyed-blue rice without a “tumis” gravy. The colouring comes from a type of flower, although some sellers use artificial equivalents. Apart from that it is also served with fried fish, keropok, salted egg, “solok lada” (fish fillet and coconut-stuffed chillis), and pickled garlic.

types of intelligence

Multiple Intelligences

psychologist[Profesor Howard Gardner (1999)]said:

I want my children to understand the world, but not just because the world is fascinating and the human mind is curious. I want them to understand it so that they will be positioned to make it a better place. Knowledge is not the same as morality, but we need to understand if we are to avoid past mistakes and move in productive directions. An important part of that understanding is knowing who we are and what we can do... Ultimately, we must synthesize our understandings for ourselves. The performance of understanding that try matters are the ones we carry out as human beings in an imperfect world which we can affect for good or for ill. (Howard Gardner 1999: 180-181).

The Seven Types of Intelligence (Howard Gardner)

Psychologist Howard Gardner identified the following distinct types of intelligence. They are listed here with respect to gifted / talented children.

1. Linguistic
Children with this kind of intelligence enjoy writing, reading, telling stories or doing crossword puzzles.

2. Logical-Mathematical
Children with lots of logical intelligence are interested in patterns, categories and relationships.
They are drawn to arithmetic problems, strategy games and experiments.

3. Bodily-Kinesthetic
These kids process knowledge through bodily sensations. They are often athletic, dancers or good at crafts such as sewing or woodworking.

4. Spatial
These children think in images and pictures. They may be fascinated with mazes or jigsaw puzzles, or spend free time drawing, building with Leggos or daydreaming.

5. Musical
Musical children are always singing or drumming to themselves.
They are usually quite aware of sounds others may miss. These kids are often discriminating listeners.

6. Interpersonal
Children who are leaders among their peers, who are good at communicating and who seem to understand others' feelings and motives possess interpersonal intelligence.

7. Intrapersonal
These children may be shy. They are very aware of their own feelings and are self-motivated.

Experiential Learning Styles

Honey and Mumford (1982) have built a typology of Learning Styles around this sequence, identifying individual preferences for each stage (Activist, Reflector, Theorist, Pragmatist respectively), Kolb also has a test instrument (the Learning Style Inventory) but has carried it further by relating the process also to forms of knowledge.

Learning styles mean that:

.At a minor level there is a need for adjustment between learner and teacher: sometimes their preferences are complementary, sometimes antagonistic, and of course sometimes collusive if they both tend to go for the same stages in the cycle.

.At a major level, neglect of some stages can prove to be a major obstacle to learning.
