My book review ( presentation )

Subject 117

This story is all about alien invasion to the earth. The hero of this story is Cade Foster who work as thief until he meet Hannah and he fallen in love with her. After he married Hannah, he doesn’t want to work as thief anymore but he wants to change his job because he doesn’t want Hannah know that he works as thief. Then, he fined a job at Viceroys and work there. Start from this he life is getting better until he feel something strange around him. Sometimes, he saw a head man without a body for a minute and sometimes he heard a voice say “nineteen” inside in his head. This mystery always happen to him day by day and it getting worst when his money in the bank was disappeared and the same times he was fired from his company without any reason. All this mystery, make him fed up and he decide to investigate all this mystery.

One night, he go to his office manager for investigation and he find a file that includes all his biography. One of name in this file is Detective Mr. Samuel Hitchen. So, he thinks maybe Mr. Samuel is a reason for all mystery that happens to him. When he meets Mr. Samuel he was shock because the head man that he saw before is Mr. Samuel Hitchen!!! But Mr. Samuel also has a same mystery with him. However, he feel little disappointed because Mr. Samuel was kill himself. But he doesn’t give up and continue his investigation.

Then he fined Mr. Mayhew who has same problem with him. Mr. Mayhew tells him that there are alien in the earth and was watching him every time and knows all about his background. So, what Mr. Mayhew says is true because they are alien in the earth and make him as the subject for the experiment to know all about human. So, Cade Foster is a subject 117!!! and he is only one can stop all alien from invasion to the earth.

I rewrite this story because I just want to share my book review, and this story I already present in the class. Did u still remember this story?

IMFORMATION ABOUT DRAMA...

Salam.....Hi guys....

Firstly, I want to tell to you all about the drama performance. We already choose the title and also finish discuss about the scrip. If you want to know, title the drama is a "Reality vs Fantasy".

Synopsis this drama is a hero and the friend go to camping in the jungle. At the one night, hero did to be a dream when their friend playing a Jumanji. Hero dream which their did lose in the jungle. The friend will go to seek the hero. In the jungle, they occur to many challenge and impediment for that time. They will to meet a Tarzan for help them for search the hero. Unfortunately, they also to catch by "orang asli". Hero also will married with the Tarzan. It is because hero like when he look the Tarzan in the first impression. When they weeding, "orang asli" come to attack them. After that, hero also will to kill by "orang asli". At the that time hero shock and awake to a dream. And the end, hero dreaming only actually.

It is a few synopsis drama for our class. I hope you all support for this drama. Also, please to be a teamwork in one group. On Monday, I will give a character to you all after the class finish.

THE KAABA

The Kaaba is a large masonary structure, look with rouhgly to the shape it's look like the cube. It is made from granite the hills near Mecca. The four corner of the Kaaba roughly face of the four points of compass. In the east corner of kaaba is the Rukn al-Aswad( the black stone), at the northen corner is the Rukn al-Iraqi, at the west is Rukn al-Shami and at the south called Rukn al-Yamani.
It's was covered by the black silk curtain decorated with kalighrafi of Arabic, the covered as known as Kiswah, and it's replace yearly. Inside the Kaaba there is a marble floor, the interior of the walls are clad with marble half way to the roof and tablets with quranic inscription. The Hatim is the structure outside from Kaaba and the shape look likes semi circular wall opposite the north west wall of Kaaba. It is 90 cm in height and 1.5 m in lenght. Muslims must throught out their face during prayer in five time a day.
The Black Stone or Hajar al-Aswad is most significant feature of Kaaba. When the pilgrims was visit to Kaaba, they often attempt to kiss the Hajar al-Aswad, as Nabi Muhammad once kiss it because it is a Sunna. The Black Stone was white when it came to earth, and change the colour turning black because burden the sins of human.The Kaaba was built by the first men(Nabi Adam) and it was fall down, Nabi Ibrahim with his sons Nabi Ismael was rebuilt it.

(The five close friend in tent at waterfall forest,They was playing a board game and one of them was yawning)
PersonA:Okay!we can play now.
Person B:Al Right, then,I it is a winner.
Person C:Surely,I will be a winner.
Person D:Not yet,We don't know from a now who is the winner,Look and see after this.Whos's a fortunately.

(Person E will start lying and thinking about a mysterious at the forest.Until he was slept).

Person ABCD:Hei!what wrong with you E,Please come and join with our together.

Person E does not ask and he is to starting to sleep.

Their friend begin to playing a board game.Person E was start to dreaming.

Scene 2.
(They are in the strange forest and unknown where they are..They start to journey in the forest)

Person ABCDE:Oh! Wonderful, We are in the heaven.Also,there are many interested here.

They are attracted in surrounding area with singing of birds and twisting voice other animal in that forest.

Person A:We must together always and willing not separated.

Person BCDE: Yes,we're sure for your suggestion.

Person E(on the heart, i was very clever and cannot affraid if i missing you all)

Suddenly,Person E saw a beutiful bird like a peacock.He want to catch it.The bird are run away.He was follow it so far into the jungle.He cannot cathc a bird.and.....

Person E: Where i am now?
(He was very affraid because lost his friend,Suddenly,he heard a great voice,he start to scare again)

Person E:What's that?

Scene 3
(The peacock was arrived in the Aboriginal village,Then,she sreaming loudly.Aboriginal people was shocked,They saw their pet in worried)

Aboriginal A: Look! there was a stranger ,What is he doing here?
Chief Aboriginal:He is a bad man,Please catch him.

(Aboriginal people was star to scream.They was chase person E and he were catched.

Person E:Don't catch me? Apologise to made you angry.

(Person E were brang to village with tied in rope.Person E are starting to cry.)

Scene 4
(in similar time and another place,Person ABCD was searching their friend,Suddenly they are heard a nice voice are waving not far in their stand.)

Person A:Are you heard it? I listened a singing voice.

Person BCD:Yes.We are heard it,Oh! maybe it become from a banshee.

Person A:Don't say so on.We must investigate it.
(Tarzan woman on the big rock was singing with her friend(Anima).it was dancing in front of the rock)

Person ABCD was seeking,they are behind a tree,suddenly....

Tree A: Don't touch my hair, go away from me.
Person ABCD: Hey! keep Quiet, We can cut you after this

Tree:Help!help! don't kill me

(the tree was angry and start screaming,by the way ...a monkey saw them and screaming with great voice.)

Monkey: There are a hunters behind the tree.
(The tarzan and her friend stopped in singing)

tarzan:What(with angry voice) attack and catch him.

Scene 5.
(The four fiend are very afraid.They tell about real situation to tarzan and her friend)

Tarzan;How we can help you?

People ABCD:Pleasa find my friend because he still missing.

(tarzan was understood and will help them)

Tarzan: Monkey,go to find their friend now.
Monkey are swinging on the tree to tree and...he saw person E in the aboriginal village and then he go back to gather.

Monkey:I saw him.he was suffering and frightening.

All together:Oh! no.

(Tarzan and people abcd want to attack an Aboriginal Village.

Monkey: I hate them because they usually kill a monkey to eaten.
(they are started in fighting and won.Two aborigin and his chief were runaway.

Person E: Thank you for your helps.More apologise for my fault yesterday.

Person ABCD:Fine.Not mention.

Person E smile to tarzan each other.The tarzan like a person E.

Person E: I want to take you for my wife.

Tarzan: Really.....

Person ABCD: Wake up! what's wrong with you.

Perso E: Oh! Alhamdulillah.Thank you for Allah.Im still alive.

Person ABCD: ha.ha.ha.ha.ha your're dream .

Person E; I dont likes this dream.Please go back now.

Carry yourself with confidence. It is a fact of human nature that 99 percent of people are too worried about how they look to scrutinize your appearance. This applies on your wedding day, when you're giving a speech and any other time you feel you are the center of attention.

LOST LOVE

I was presented this story in front of the class and maybe you don't gad it because my presentation skill is really bad. However, i will presented once again to who want to read this post.


One man have a will to travel along his country alone with his car. He prepared the map and checked his car. When all the preparation complete, he start the journey and drive following his map. After driving in the moment, his car stopped in the middle of the road and he doesn't know where he is. He totally lost in his own country. After he checked his car and can't find any problem of it he saw the petrol level of his car, it's completely run out of petrol.

After a while sitting in the car, he saw a woman holding flower on her hand walking on the street. He talk to that woman and ask about where he can find a petrol. Unfortunately, she doesn't know what the petrol is, but she offer this man to follow her to her village and maybe any of her villagers know about it. At the village he feel so strange about this village bases on their cloth and the houses in there. In addition, the village is not listed in his map, but he assume this village not listed because it's so small village. The woman family treat him well. He ask the woman father about petrol, but he also doesn't know that thing. The family tell him that there just use horse as transport and don't know about petrol or car. That make he fill this village oddness greater. After a while belong there and the kindness of this woman make him fall in love with her and her parent also a nice person.When the night become darker, the family ask him leave the village with sadness. He doesn't know why and many time he ask for the reason, but he never get it. Then, the woman say goodbye to him with a sad voice. He love her and know she share the same felling about that, but he have to go.

After that, he go to the nearest village to ask about the petrol and about the village. The villager say to him there is no village in there right now, but it was there long time ago. The villager also tell him about how that village was destroyed by an army without any sympathy. He went back to the village location and saw there is nothing in there. Bases on the other villager story, the village only appear once in 10 year. Then, he set his will to find that woman 10 year later at the same time and hope to find her and he won't leave that village again for live with his beloved woman and happily ever after.

SKIMMING AND SCANNING

Good readers read at different speeds for different purposes. Sometimes it is important to read slowly and carefully, such as went you are reading a textbook to prepare for a test. Other times, you can read much more quickly. When you only want to find out what something is about such as the general topic of an article, you can read it very quickly. This is called skimming. You can also read very quickly when you looking for a specific piece of information in a reading. This is called scanning. Skimming and scanning are two important reading skills that require fast reading.

SKIMMING

Skimming is a way to read quickly in order to discover the general idea of a text. When you skim, you do not read every word. You do not stop to look up words you do not know in a dictionary. Skimming is a good technique to use when you have lots of material to read in a short amount of time. The propose of skimming is not to understand or remember everything you read. Instead, it is to get a general idea of what the passage is about.

When you want to skim:

· Read the first few sentences. You can often to get a general idea about the passage right from the start.

· Read the last few sentences. These sentences often summarize information in the passage.

· Look for key word (word that are repeated). They will give you clues about the topic.

SCANNING

Scanning is another ways to read quickly. But it is different from skimming. When you scan you read quickly in order to find specific information. To scan, you move you eyes quickly across the text. You do not read every word.

To scan effectively you need to do several things:

· Know the specific information you are looking for.

· Ignore the words and information that aren’t important for you purpose.

· Move your eyes rapidly across the text until you find the information and then stop reading.
